The aim with the network is to deepen the knowledge about teacher education in the different countries and to widen the perspectives and learn from each other. One important purpose is to spread knowledge to other researchers and teacher educators in the Nordic countries through conference symposia, reports and articles. The network has so far run symposia at NERA conferences 2007 and 2008 and at the AERA conference 2007. Coming conferences, where different symposium proposals are accepted, are ECER-2008 and AERA 2009.
